unruly things, girlhula, palindrome press, abbytriesagain,
unruly things, and jordis)
above are some of my flickr favorites that i have marked lately.
they each exude something that i love. be it how the light is captured, handmade,
or noticing of small details. i love that other people notice little things.

getting ready

for the sale. i have been busy printing my calendars,
and sewing up the last bags that i have fabric for.
in the midst of this, and getting together my ideas for the new year,
and what i want to focus on, i am prepping for the holidays.
my family is coming over for thanksgiving, and i'm looking forward to it.

(photo courtesty of estasketch)

i always enjoy new updates from estasketch.
she works in many different mediums, and i love each
one she does.
she has done it again, with these brooches and necklaces
printed with images from her sketchbooks.
they would make great christmas presents!

tuesday night barak-ed!

our election night party was a blast. and thanks
to obama for making it a celebration, instead of a dreadful evening.
if it wasn't for him, i don't think it would have turned into cheering and dancing.

i am so overjoyed that he is the next president, and feel that there will be
some needed change on the way!
I had felt pretty confident tuesday that he was going to win, and
was just so ready for it to happen. the mood continued for much of the week, and
I look so much forward to how he will influence our country.
He is a huge inspiration to me, and makes me want to be more involved in the community.
I am looking forward to the next four years!

the chairs

as said in a previous post,
i wanted to reupholster the dining room chairs
in the printed chair fabric. well, i only have so much that
isn't being used for totes for the sale (stay tuned for more updates on that)
so i used what i had on the chairs, and used other fabric i had around.
i like it. i just have to print more chair fabric. soon!
what do you think?
i also wanted to get these reupholstered because we are having
people over tonight for an election night party!
hopefully we will all be toasting to obama's victory. who knows how long everyone will hang out!
